The 5 R's of great movement and footwork on the tennis court.

Get READY - Get ready by being up on your toes and then creating a strong foundation with your legs (split step) when the opponent strikes the ball.
Bailey Tennis Footwork teaches the 3 most common ways to get on your toes and 3 different types of split steps.
READ - Reading the opponents approaching ball before it enters a specific “Contact Zone” on the court.
Bailey Tennis Footwork teaches 6 different types of “approaching balls” which land in 4 “Contact (tactical intention) Zones”.
REACT - Moving to the ball with “Out Steps” into a “Footwork Zone” and setting up the feet with a “Hitting Stance”.
Bailey Tennis Footwork teaches 13 different “Out Steps” into 4 “Footwork Zones” where the player selects one of 7 “Hitting Stances”.
RESPOND - Respond with one of 15 Contact Moves (ie: an athletic move a player makes at contact with the ball!) and its’ corresponding Balance Move.
