The Pelvic Snap
The pelvic snap is the explosive rotation of the pelvis that initiates the kinetic chain in modern groundstrokes. It works in combination with hip-shoulder separation: the pelvis rotates first, loading energy in the core, then releases to whip the upper body through contact. The outside leg braces to create a stable rotation axis.
