T — Tensegrity

Why don't I leak energy? Tensegrity = tension + integrity. Bones float in a myofascial web. When the web is tuned, energy flows. When it's knotted, energy leaks.

The Rule

Bones float, fascia holds. No knots, no slack, no leaks.

Why It Matters

  • Tensegrity structure distributes load across the entire system
  • Knots (chronic tension) create stress concentrations = injury
  • Slack (loose fascia) = energy dissipation = weak shots

Key Cue

"Bones float, fascia holds."

Training Drill

  1. Full-body scan — find and release knots before play
  2. Figure-8 with tension awareness — feel the web loading
  3. Post-session recovery — restore tensegrity balance

Common Errors

  • Chronic shoulder/neck tension: Creates upper-body knots
  • Hip flexor tightness: Pulls pelvis, breaks spinal tensegrity
  • Grip death-grip: Radiates tension up the arm line
