The Deep-Dive Library — 11 Research Categories Beyond the 30 Chapters¶
The 30-chapter Handbook is a closed system: one continuous argument, Q-V-ROOT-8-45-Impulse-Jin, from the first grip decision to the final quick-reference card. It doesn't need a 31st chapter — it needs a library sitting next to it, for the research that doesn't fit inside that one continuous argument but is too substantive to leave in a personal notes folder.
This library holds 11 categories. Each one is a genuinely new piece of writing — not a copy of a vault note, not a translated PDF — built from real research material (neuroscience papers, coaching literature, biomechanics reports, clinical technique manuals) that Henry has collected over years of study. Each category also links back into the Handbook and the rest of the site wherever the topics overlap, so nothing here duplicates a chapter that already exists — it extends it.
Curation rule: a category only earns a place here if there's enough real, substantive source material behind it to support genuine depth. Filenames alone don't count; a category needs the equivalent of several solid source documents, not a stray note or two. A handful of other candidate categories didn't clear this bar — their source material either restated an existing chapter almost exactly or turned out to be auto-generated noise rather than real research — so those got folded into an existing chapter's "Related Concepts" list instead of standing here as thin pages.
The 11 Categories¶
